	Sunday, June 27, 1999 - Dark Eagle After a conversation with Herfra, I was brought to some conclusions.  She brought up some ideas on how to better organize the clan.  After I talked to her, I came up with the following set of rules, which are subject to change. All members MUST read and follow these rules!! Frozen Ground Consititution Hopefully this will help our clan work better, and become stronger as time passes.  I will inform you if the consitution is changed in any way. I still had fun, even if it was just a scrimm.  It did prove to us, however, that we need to get started on sharpening our teamwork skills.  We need to rely on one another, not act independently. I was thinking that perhaps we should make Mon - Fri next week an ALL practice week.  Maybe 9 or 10 EST every night?  Tell me what you think on the message board. Oh yeah!  We are now allied with Turks!  The same people we scrimmed against!  They are all nice peeople, and good at TF.  They're like us, just starting to get on our feet ;). Tuesday, June 21, 1999 - Dark Eagle Like the new buttons?  I do.  They're less of a pain the old javascript buttons.  Plus, I think they look better, and that they have a faster loading time certainly is a plus.  I also added a new page, since Cartman suggested we get a join page.  I didn't make one in the beginning because I wanted to wait until we got members. Please feel free to invite people to this page!  Cartman made Quake Name Maker file that can be used to quickly show this address.  You can download the file here.  Just hold down shift and then click on the link!  Put into your Quake\Id1 directory, then in the console just type: exec fg.qnm That's all you have to do!  Practice is in two more days.  I can't wait!!!  We're gonna get some work done, and have some fun while doing it!     Peace,   Dark Eagle Monday, June 20, 1999 - Dark Eagle I hope everyone had a happy Father's Day with their fathers.  I think my dad was happy.  We had a cookout :).  Ok, I've gotten a few people reporting that they cannot make it to Wednesday practice.  Due to this reason, I'm making Practices on Thursdays now.  Hopefully this will make it easier one everyone.  Also, I accidentily deleted the calendar from before, so I just now got the new one up.  We have three new members!  Herfra, Tezuka, and Cartman!  Folks, if we can get at least 8 people in these practices, I think we will be able to begin tournaments and such next month.  This means everyone must show up, listen and follow instructions, and dedicate themselves to winning.  Everyone know about STA?  One of the biggest tournaments in TF?  Yes, I know you know about it!  I plan on FG being at the Very Top of that list! Message board... blank...  IRC chan... blank...  not good...  I wanna have feedback from you guys!  Your opinion is what makes this clan work!  You input info to everyone, and everyone can give you feedback.  Well, until later, adieu     Eagle Friday, June 18, 1999 - Dark Eagle HI!  I had fun today!  A) I went skating all  day!  My friends and I skated outside a local church on boards and blades.  It was a great day... only about 78 degrees most of the day.  Been awfully cold l8ly, and it's almost summer!  At least it's not 98 degrees like two weeks ago. Anyhow.. oh wait, I didn't say what B) was, did I?  B... what was it?  Oh yeah!  During the day 3 of the other FG clan members were online!  So we have our first practice!  Thanks again to MagNus, Dreamking, and Mr. String!  I hd a lot of fun.  Yes, it wasnt' really a practice, more of just a freeforall, but it was fun, nonetheless.  I would also like to announce Dreamking as our official recruiter!  I still want you all looking for possible members though!  Give the possible recruit's info to Dream.  By the way guys!  I'm serious!  Get into the clan channel and start posting on the message board! Thursday, June, 10, 1999 - Dark Eagle ARRRGH!  Yes, I know I didn't show last night, until 40 minutes late.  My dad made me go help him install my sister's dryer.  I told him to get me home by 9:00, but it was 9:15 by the time we finished.  I got home as fast as I could, I was driving, so I hurried!  When I got home, only about 2 FG were online.  And neither one of them responded.  And to answer your question Dreamking, there was no server, I was planning on just finding one that was empty.   What angers me most is that my spy imformed me that only a few people were even online in my absence.  I thank those that came, and I hope you can forgive me.   Guys, I mean it.  We need to PRACTICE!  Next Wednesday, same time.  Be there!  And get more members!  Tell them to come to me for a tryout.    One more thing! Wednesday, June 9, 1999 - Dark Eagle Today's the day guys!  Practice is at 9 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).  That's 8 Central!  It's also 6 Pacific!  Get this down guys!  It's important!  I expect ALL FG members to be at this tonight!  Once we get organized guys, I promise you we will begin competing!  I'll update this later tonight after the practice! Monday, June 7, 1999 - Dark Eagle I'll stand here, right here.  Ok, line up.  You all get one shot at me.  Just no nut shots.  I forgot guys.  Somehow watching RAW and seeing Austin becoming CEO of WWF made me lose my memory.  I forgot about the Bash.  I even went on ICQ to see if anyone was talking about RAW.  That was at 9:45 (delayed by my father downloading a email... a hugeass email).  But even then I forgot!  I'm sorry guys. Well, Wednesday is going to be different.  I will not forget about this practice.  This practice is VERY important guys.  This practice is when we find certain strategic positions and appoint assignments.  This will be our main preparation for fighting in matches.  I'm not gonna sign us up for matches or tournies until I believe we are ready to fight.  We're good.  But if we don't get organized, we will surely fall.  We need to get prepared, and to do that, we need to practice and think!  So guys, please, please show up Wednesday on ICQ!  And be sure to remind me, in case.  If you have ICQ 99 and above, set your reminder timer :). Friday, June 4, 1999 - Dark Eagle HEY HEY HEY!  Fat Albert gonna show you what it really means to be outta school!  hehe. Hey guys!  Guess what?!  NO MORE SCHOOL!  Be sure to follow my tradition of getting Alice Cooper!  Every year, I get out the Alice Cooper CD and play "School's Out."  It's a tradition.  Ok guys, here's what's gonna happen:  oh look, a calendar at the bottom of the page... how nice.  Isn't it nice?  So far, I've only got some practices arranged.  Also, guys, I wanna throw a School's Out bash Monday.  This will be similar to a practice, but it's only really a way to beat the Hell outta each other :).  Isn't that nice?  hehe.  So be sure to check out the calendar regularly, I might add stuff to it.  Oh yeah, if there are any important dates, tell me.  This is it guys!  We're starting this bitch!  Ain't no one gonna stop us either!  FG is the best, and we're hitting hoes and knockin do's! Friday, May 28, 1999 - Dark Eagle Sorry guys!  I know I know!  I havn't been talking much.  I also know it's been awhile since my last update.  I've been having trouble in school, and I wanted to make this last grading period count.  Which means studying, and especially doing good on the upcoming Finals.  Thursday is Finals Day.  After that, school is out.  Then I can relieve my stress, and begin doing the things I love most, like getting this clan together.  Soon guys, soon.  I hope to be up and running again Friday.  Again guys, I'm really sorry.  Just let me finish this, and I'll be ready to frag again!   Monday, May 17, 1999 - Dark Eagle Ok guys, both Warhead and HellRaiser have quit FG.  I'm not angry, for I shouldn't be.  Their leaving has brought doubts to me however.  Am I failing as a leader?  Two to three weeks into FG existence, and it seems like I've already began the disintegration.  I need to know guys, should I continue?  Should I just drop FG altogether?  ICQ me the answer please. And no, I'm not quitting, not unless you want me to.     Thursday, May 13,1999 - Dark Eagle Hello again!  Ok.  Not enuff ppl showed for the meeting guys.  I'm gonna let this one slip by.  I want everyone  to be at the next meeting.  This meeting is going to be Friday, the 14th!  I want you there!  At 8:00 EST!  If you aren't there I want you to email me a damn good reason for your absence!  This is our first meeting ever guys!  This is important!   On  another note, we have yet another 2 members.  Welcome Slider and Nexon!  Jester will be joining as well, as soon as I get his ICQ #... or email for that matter.   And no guys, the page isn't done yet.  This whole banner thing kinda threw me off a little.  I have to have them on the pages, but I moved them so that they didn't ruin the page as bad... I hope anyhow.  I will be putting up a message board soon.  I plan on using the old fashioned .cgi links to message board servers, heh.  I think that I might put up a match section too, even though we havn't had any matches yet... hehe.  Tell me what ya think!   Ok, eight members!  Time to start practicing guys!  With eight members we can join a few tournaments!  But that means we can have 0, I repeat, zero-o absences!  No one can miss them!  And before we begin fighting, I want to set up a few strategies, and hone our skillz.  So be ready!  And get more recruits!   I've been hit with a couple of requests to be 2nd in command.  I mean it guys!  I NEED you to be able to meet the criteria described above!  I mostly need the person to be able to update this page.  Because it's important!  I know HTML, but I use Netscape Composer to update pages, because it makes them easier.  And this page here uses about 5 tables, which means updating on Notepad could be confusing... and it does.  So at LEAST get an editor, and go to Geocities or Angelfire to get some crash course tutorials on HTML.  Mail in your answers to the criteria above to my email.  I'll look at them there.  Don't send via ICQ plz.  Also, give me a quick paragraph on why you believe you should be 2nd in command.  Don't worry, I want to see who wants the position right now.  After a few practices, and after I get to know you all better, I will make my decision.  But send in requests immediately!   Monday, May 10, 1999 - Dark Eagle Well Well.... we get yet ANOTHER member.  Everyone greet our newest member, Smoke_Ems_Up.  He's a friend of HellRaiser's.  BTW, HellRaiser owns a server!  yes, that's right!  A server!  Now, once he gives me a Rcon... maybe I can work it out to have a timelimit/fraglimit... hehe.  The server IP is 204.211.14.251 And someone PLEASE remind me of Wednesday... I'm serious, my memory sux.  Remind me, and remind fellow members. One more thing.  Once FG gets a few more members, I plan on picking a second in command.  I want all those that would to have this position to email me for it.  Basically, the 2nd will take over for my place when I am not around... he will take care of battles, and run practices if I am not there.  He is also in the position to report what he believes to be dishonorable behavior and to report it to me.  He will have all information that I have.  ie. Rcon, Web page info, etc.  The following are requirements, if you don't have them, try and learn them:   Some HTML experience. Good knowledge in TF strategy Good attitude (can handle hard situations) Dependable Honor ( I emphasize this one guys!  I can't tell ya how dishonorable some people out there are!)
